Harpia is a yerba maté brand that bridges Brazilian tradition with Argentinian influence, resulting in a completely new yerba mate experience. Harvested from wild trees in the rainforest, on the land of the famous Gehm family, Harpia is a true artisanal product. Their yerba is dried using the traditional Barbacua drying method, which results in a smoky aroma and flavor. The leaves and sticks are naturally aged for 18 months, allowing the flavors to mature and develop additional depth.
The taste profile of this blend is intriguing, combining cereal and nutty notes with a pleasant bitterness. The flavor has a fair amount of sweetness, grassiness, mild acidity, and minimal smoky accents. The bitterness is subtle, making this maté smooth and balanced.
