Preparation
Calabash method:
Pour cold water or crushed ice over the mate in a calabash, steep for about 5 minutes, drink through a bombilla, and refill with cold water as desired.
Teapot method:
Use 15 g (approx. 3 tablespoons) per 500 ml of cold water, steep 5+ minutes, then strain. Optionally add lemon juice, fruit juice, or ice.
