Product detailed description

This rare Pu Er is crafted from tea trees over 350 years old, with a substantial portion of leaves coming from trees older than 400 years. The leaves were harvested in spring 2022 from high-mountain tea gardens in Ming Feng Shan, located in Lincang, southwestern Yunnan. Though less known than other famous tea regions, Ming Feng Shan stands out for its altitude—2,100 meters above sea level—making it one of the highest tea-growing areas in the Yunnan highlands. Dark Pu Er made from true Gu Shu (ancient tree) material is exceptionally rare. Using such precious leaves in the unpredictable Shu Cha fermentation process requires courage and deep expertise. Seasoned tea masters have transformed this tea into both a remedy and a delicacy. The result is a refined, layered, and multidimensional experience. Expect sweet notes of chocolate and molasses, accented by a hint of nutmeg. Its rich aroma and full-bodied mouthfeel are unmistakable—a feast for the senses, born from ancient roots and mountain silence.
