Kalena brand, producing maté in accordance with sustainability principles, won the "Best Maté" award at the Caminos y Sabores fair in La Rural in 2020. A family business with roots dating back to 1977, it is based in the San Demetrion facility in Misiones. Kalena Traditional maté is allowed to mature for 12 months. Its flavor is complex, and with each brew (which can last for many infusions), new notes unfold, allowing you to discover new flavors. If you brew the maté with cooler water, around 60°C, you will highlight its natural sweetness. Although Kalena Traditional is not certified organic, it is produced ecologically without agrochemicals or artificial additives.
