The tea leaves for this Iron Goddess originate from the Wu Hua Shan garden in the village of Xianghua, located in Anxi. Nearby villages such as Changkeng to the east and Longjuan to the south are also renowned as birthplaces of Tie Guan Yin tea. The tea bushes grow at altitudes above 900 meters, in an area almost constantly veiled in mist and exceptionally rich in rainfall.
